The Pain Management Clinical Specialist at Reading Hospital is an educator, sharing their knowledge and expertise with pharmacy and medical residents and students, pharmacy staff, physicians and nurses, as well as patients and their care givers. Responsibilities of this role include precepting residents and students, mentoring and developing staff pharmacists and improving drug usage and therapeutic outcomes for patients through the implementation and support of pharmacy initiatives. The successful candidate will be a team player, as they are required to work closely with other professionals by participating in patient care rounds, representing pharmacy on multidisciplinary teams, and coordinating and advancing pharmacy services, always maintaining the patient as the central focus of their work. The Clinical Specialist assists in the planning, organization and direction of pharmacy services to achieve a high quality standard of care throughout the continuum and supports the development of training and education programs, along with evaluation processes, for clinical activities of the pharmacist staff. Doctorate in Pharmacy; will accept BS in Pharmacy with equivalent experience in lieu of Pharm D requirement
PGY1 Residency training with experience in Pain Management or 1-2 years equivalent experience in Pain Management. (Required)

CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:
