DIRECTOR OF PHARMACY - FULL TIME DREW MEMORIAL HOSPITAL MONTICELLO, AR
Description: As afull-time, nonexempt, Comprehensive Pharmacy Services (CPS) Director of Pharmacy at Drew Memorial Hospital, you will oversee all pharmacy operations to include planning, organizing, and controlling pharmacy services according to hospital policies, standards of practice of the profession, and state and federal laws. You will recommend innovations in the practice and function of the pharmacy to hospital administration and carry out mutually agreed upon programs. The Director of Pharmacy is responsible for the continued growth, development, and implementation of operational systems that support safe delivery of pharmaceutical care. This position includes a varying degree of staffing duties, in addition to administrative duties. This facility offers 340b and includes chemotherapy services in a rural, family oriented setting. As Director of Pharmacy with CPS you will have a full support team available to you including a Regional Manager, Regional Clinical Director, 340B Specialist, Regulatory Specialist, Drug Information Specialist, Finance Director and more.
Schedule: This position will work 40 hours per week Monday-Friday during the day shift. This position may have on-call hours occasionally.
About the Facility: Drew Memorial is a County owned, acute care hospital that is licensed for 49 beds with an ADC of 30. Services include Surgical, Cancer Center Infusion Services, Sleep, Women's needs, Imaging, Respiratory, Physical Therapy, Inpatient and Outpatient senior Psychiatric, Wound Care, Home Health and Lab, The Pharmacy hours are currently Monday-Sunday 7:30am-6pm with remote telepharmacy services when the pharmacy is closed. There are plans to expand the pharmacy hours to 8pm Monday-Friday. In 2018, the hospital expanded the OR, ICU, Women's Services and Outpatient Services to meet community needs. Management of the pharmacy is out sourced to CPS.

BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
AR Pharmacist licensure in good standing
Management experience in a healthcare/hospital environment.
Minimum of 3 years experience working as a pharmacist in a hospital setting
Ability to solve problems, establish trust and credibility.
Demonstrated teaching, relevant professional publications and involvement with Professional organizations.
Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns and work cooperatively with other staff.
