This position is for an Oncology Clinical Pharmacist that will have the opportunity to care for Inpatient and Ambulatory patients with solid tumor cancers. This pharmacist will have the opportunity to rotate between covering an inpatient Med Onc service and Ambulatory solid tumor clinics in partnership with another pharmacist on the team. Daily activities will include: rounding with the inpatient Med Onc team, electronically verifying orders (using EPIC) for patients on this service, supporting oncologists and other providers in medication therapy management of patients receiving ambulatory oncology treatment (infusion and oral), educating patients and clinical staff, precepting students and residents, and participating in Oncology related committees. This pharmacist will work closely with the Inpatient Heme Malignancy Clinical Specialist, our 8 Ambulatory Oncology Clinical Specialists, our Investigational Drug Pharmacists, oncology nurses, and oncologists.
PGY-1 training or equivalent experience is required, and completion of a PGY-2 in Oncology is preferred
