Provide development, planning and IS support for FPS, including daily ongoing support for computer and POS systems. Provide ongoing problem solving and training to fully utilize the systems.
Participate in the IS/automation development, implementation and ongoing evaluation and training for retail sites:
Evaluate, develop, create and implement training manuals and specific-subject reference guides.
Conduct functional testing of all aspects of the system, including custom interfaces to assure proper and accurate operation at the sites.
Assist in building computer files and tables during pre-implementation phase of the project.
Provide ongoing recommendations for optimum system utilization.
Respond to inquiries and suggestions for ongoing success of the systems
Provide problem solving and troubleshooting with various systems
Identify system requirements and ensure requirements are met appropriatelyBe proficient in the pharmacy systems and provide training and support for pharmacy staff:
Provide support necessary for all users so they will accept the new system, become adequately trained, and continue to provide excellent customer service during the conversion process.
Learn all aspects of the computer and POS functionality and act as a resource to pharmacy staff prior to, during and after system conversion.
Act as a liaison between the Computer Vendor and the pharmacy staff.
Work in coordination with training and staff to develop training plans and course curriculumProvide on & off-site technical and support, training and supplement staffing during system conversions:
Participate in preparatory activities for go-live.
Provide ongoing support to the sites before, during and after conversion.
Troubleshoot and problem solve system issues
Share on-call responsibilities including nights, weekends and holidays.
Demonstrates ability to provide care or service adjusting approaches to reflect developmental level and cultural differences of population served
Partners with patient care giver in care/decision making.
Communicates in a respectful manner.
Ensures a safe, secure environment.
Individualizes plan of care to meet patient needs.
Modifies clinical interventions based on population served.
Provides patient education based on as assessment of learning needs of patient/care giver.

One year Pharmacy Technician in retail or inpatient setting
MN BOP Pharmacy Technician License
Technical or Training Education. BA in Business or related field
One year computer conversion experience with practical experience in adult education/training. Three to five years Pharmacy Technician and IS experience.

Previous computer conversion experience, excellent training and motivational skills, working knowledge of retail pharmacy, excellent customer service skills and communication skills, proficient in the English language, good attention to detail and ability to problem solve effectively.
