This ASHP-accredited specialty residency in Internal Medicine is a one year post-doctoral training program designed to prepare exemplary practitioners and educators for entry into academic clinical pharmacy practice positions. The purpose of the program is to prepare our residents to excel in the provision of pharmacy clinical care to internal medicine patients.
After completion of this residency, the graduate will be able to:
establish a practice site in internal medicine
establish a teaching service for pharmacy students and residents
prepare and present didactic lectures and seminars
conduct scholarly research
