The Clinical Pharmacist provides comprehensive pharmaceutical care for patients. This consists of ensuring drug therapy that result in safe, effective, and cost conscious use of pharmaceuticals. Must demonstrate excellent interdisciplinary communication and exhibit strong educational and precepting abilities.
We are recruiting for 8+ pharmacist positions for our several hospital locations. Positions would be hired with a tentative start of July/August 2021. All of our positions have a component supporting operations, medication distribution, and transitions of care.

The University of Kansas Health System is opening 3 brand new floors of patient care, focusing on heme/onc. BMT, CAR-T and oncologic critical care in December 2021.

Bachelor or Doctoral Degree in Pharmacy
Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in the state of Kansas or eligible for licensure required
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certification as necessary
Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties certification is chosen area of specialty preferred
One year of hospital pharmacy experience preferred
