Clinical Pharmacist – Outpatient Medical Oncology:
This is a new position to help provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care to the medical oncology population. Work related activities may include: drug selection, drug information, regimen creation and ordering, monitoring and toxicity management, formulary management, outcome evaluations, and patient or staff education/counseling. This person will join a team of inpatient hematology/oncology clinical pharmacists, outpatient hematology clinical pharmacists, and inpatient/outpatient transplant and cellular therapy clinical pharmacists at the University of Miami Hospital & Clinics.
Clinical Pharmacist – Hematology / Oncology Lead:
This is a new position that will include facilitating the development, implementation, and maintenance of clinical pharmacy services to medical oncology and hematology service lines (mostly outpatient services) at the University of Miami Hospital & Clinics. This person will have a component of clinical care as well as administrative tasks including the opportunity to serve as the Residency Program Director of the oncology PGY-2 program and coordinating and optimizing the current clinical pharmacy services in those respective areas (currently have 2 hematology clinical pharmacists). This person will co-lead with the current transplant and cellular therapy clinical pharmacist lead.
This position requires oncology related work experience post PGY-2 specialty residency or fellowship
