PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency Kaiser Permanente Georgia’s Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency program is designed to train the pharmacy resident in various aspects of ambulatory care pharmacy in an integrated health care delivery environment. Residents will gain insight into providing comprehensive medication management in multidisciplinary primary care and specialty outpatient practices. This residency will provide PGY2 ambulatory care residents with the necessary skills to become advanced, skilled pharmacy practitioners capable of obtaining a position as an ambulatory care clinical pharmacy specialist in a variety of settings. Program Highlights: - Ability to work under collaborative practice agreements in all of our specialty services including primary care, anticoagulation, nephrology, cardiology, geriatrics/palliative care, infectious disease/HIV, gastroenterology/hepatology and oncology
- Exposure to population health learning opportunities and access to a robust electronic medical record
- Collaboration with a pharmacy research committee to complete a unique research project with publishable manuscript
Qualifications Interested candidates must be graduates of an accredited College of Pharmacy and successfully completed or currently completing an accredited PGY1 residency. All applicants must be eligible for licensure in Georgia and obtain a Georgia pharmacist’s license by September 1st. Compensation - Competitive stipend for the 2020-2021 residency year ($52,000)
