The PGY-1/PGY-2 HSPAL Residency at WVU Hospitals will provide the resident with the skills to assume high level leadership and managerial responsibilities. The program is a 24-month, postgraduate training experience composed of required learning experiences in both clinical pharmacy and pharmacy administration. The resident will complete all PGY-1 pharmacy residency requirements with year 2 focused on administrative experiences in- operations management, clinical management, ambulatory care, human resources, medication safety and executive leadership. Additionally, there is time devoted to research and training in the various dispensing areas of pharmacy.
