The Senior Clinical Manager is a recognized pharmacy leader with strong clinical skills and provides visible, values driven leadership and advocacy for pharmacy. The Mayo Eugenio Litta Children’s Hospital is a 120 bed “hospital within a hospital” at the Mayo Clinic Hospital, Saint Mary’s Campus in Rochester MN. The Senior Clinical Manager has a component of time dedicated to a clinical practice as well management of several of the pediatric pharmacists within this team with a goal to provide comprehensive clinical and dispensing services to the pediatric intensive care unit, pediatric transplant unit, neonatal intensive care unit, pediatric cardiovascular surgery intensive care unit, general pediatrics, pediatric hematology/oncology, and the ambulatory pediatric infusion therapy center.
This individual manages implements and coordinates comprehensive pharmacy operations that are aligned with the overall department program, incorporates best practices, emphasizes the safety and optimized outcomes of our patients, and delivers the highest value care to our patients and the organization. Manages pharmacy services to ensure that all quality, legal, regulatory and accreditation standards are met or exceeded. Actively participates in and supports pharmacy education programs and scholarly activity.

Previous experience required includes PGY 2 training in pediatrics, and/or equivalent experience of 3-5 years in pediatric practice.
