Participates in interdisciplinary rounds to provide safe, evidence-based, cost effective, and patient centered medication management.
Participates in clinical projects, initiatives, and order set review for hematologic malignancies.
Serves as a primary preceptor for pharmacy students and/or PGY2 Oncology residents for their Malignant Hematology rotation.
Provide clinical pharmacy services in order to optimize medication therapy by identifying, preventing, and resolving medication-related problems.
Monitor drug therapy to evaluate appropriateness of use, dose, dosage form, regimen, route, therapeutic duplication, and drug interactions.
Actively participates in department specific leadership roles and provides guidance and expertise to committees and quality or process improvement initiatives.
Interpret and apply oncology and other medical evidence and data to coordinate and lead pharmacy practice research and projects.
Provide education and counseling to patients and caregivers about their chemotherapy regimens, supportive care medications, and discharge medications.
Participate in the development and review of guidelines, policies, and order sets or protocols
Maintains Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy through the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties and participate in local and national meetings pertaining to oncology/ BMT/ cellular therapy.

Credentials and Qualifications
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (required)
Licensed as a Pharmacist in the state of Florida (required)
ASHP Accredited PGY2 in Oncology or minimum 5 year experience in oncology (required)
Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) (preferred)
Hematology experience (preferred)
