The Clinical Specialist will primarily be responsible for rounding with the inpatient lymphoma/multiple myeloma service and for rotation into the outpatient multiple myeloma and lymphoma settings. Service coverage may also include solid tumor patients and rounding with inpatient service. Specialist is responsible for provision of clinical pharmacy services and education and patient counseling, nursing/physician/pharmacy in-services, protocol and pathway development, research, precepting and Beacon review.
We have an additional opportunity for a Clinical Specialists to work with our solid tumor inpatient team. Services provided include rounding with a multidisciplinary team and provision of clinical pharmacy services, review of chemotherapy protocols and pathway development, chemotherapy education and discharge counseling, precepting, nursing/physician/pharmacy in-services, and opportunities to work on cost, quality and research committees. Opportunity exists for rotation into the outpatient solid tumor clinics.
