Jackson Memorial Hospital (JMH) is an accredited, non-profit, tertiary care hospital and the major teaching facility for the University of Miami Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine. The Department of Pharmacy at JMH is responsible for providing acute care pharmacy services for a diverse population of medical and surgical patients and ambulatory clinics including retail and specialty pharmacy on campus. We have a team of over 30 clinical hospital pharmacist specialists as well as 3 PGY1 pharmacy residents and 7 PGY2 pharmacy residents. Specialized Residency or Fellowship in the clinical service specialty practice area or equivalent practice experience desirable. Experience in the provision of clinical pharmacy services, teaching and research is desirable. Strong patient care orientation, self-motivation, and good interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills, and the ability to work effectively as a team player are required.
