The Seattle Cancer Care Alliance (SCCA) Oncology Pharmacist team provides extensive pharmaceutical care to inpatient and ambulatory patients. In addition to direct care, pharmacists participate in drug therapy consults, conduct clinical research protocols, provide patient/family/staff education, and precept pharmacy students and residents. SCCA combines the adult and pediatric oncology patient care services of three world-renowned cancer care institutions Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Seattle Children's, and UW Medicine.
Presently, we are recruiting for a Clinical Oncology Pharmacist who will rotate through several disease-state specialized clinics at the SCCA. More future opportunities may be available at a later date.
We are seeking highly motivated clinical pharmacists to provide pharmaceutical care for oncology patients. Our oncology pharmacists provide extensive pharmaceutical care to both inpatients and outpatients and are a vital part of the patient care team. In addition to direct patient care responsibilities, our pharmacists participate in drug therapy consults, clinical research protocols, provide patient/family/staff education, and precepting pharmacy students, practice residents and oncology specialty residents.

Requirements include a pharmacy degree and at least one year of pharmacy practice experience or completion of a pharmacy practice residency. Oncology experience or an oncology specialty residency highly desired. Must be eligible for licensure in the state of Washington.
