The Pharmacy Oncology Services Manager will report to the Pharmacy Assistant Director of Oncology and Investigational Drug Services and will be responsible for daily oversight and strategic development of the inpatient and ambulatory oncology clinical operations for WVUH. WVUH oncology clinical operations support clinic and infusion ambulatory pharmacy services for the Marry Babb Randolph Cancer Center (hematology/oncology, solid tumor, and off-service infusion) as well as inpatient clinical services for BMT and solid tumor services. Based on candidate experience and interest areas, this position will have the opportunity to engage in Investigational Drug Pharmacy clinical and operational service-line growth. Additional responsibilities will include precepting students and resident, development and implementation of new services, quality improvement initiatives, policies, and procedures within their area of oversight to ensure the provision of safe and high quality patient care.
Acute Care Clinical Manager:
The Pharmacy Manager for Adult Clinical Services manages the clinical pharmacy services for multiple acute care service-lines, including critical care specialties, cardiology, medicine, surgical services, and emergency medicine. Duties include the direct supervision of clinical pharmacists for these areas on all shifts, precepting students and residents, and leading projects that support the mission and vision of the department. This manager is also responsible for the development and implementation of new services, quality improvement initiatives, policies, and procedures within their area of oversight to ensure the provision of safe and high quality patient care. The Pharmacy Manager for Adult Clinical Services takes an active role in department and health-system committees and other initiatives applicable to their area of oversight.
