VA has been focused on vaccinating as many Veterans as possible. Under the new SAVE LIVES ACT, we've been given an expanded charge to vaccinate as many individuals as possible. Pharmacist will be assigned Montgomery but will travel to all CBOCs (Columbus, Monroeville, and Dothan and supplement Tuskegee and Montgomery vaccination team as well. This is an open continuous announcements and applicants will be reviewed weekly starting April 14th, 2021. Duties include, but are not limited to: reviewing, interpreting, and verifying prescription orders for appropriateness; processing and filling prescription orders; interacting with and making recommendations to other clinical staff regarding medication therapy ordered to ensure safe and effective care; reviewing the patient's medications, allergies, labs, and other pertinent information from the medical record to identify and solve medication-related problems; contacting providers as appropriate; documenting recommendations and interventions; providing partial medication supplies; taking health and medication histories; performing medication reconciliation; providing medication counseling to patients; Reports adverse drug events (ADE), near misses, and medication errors Provide Pharmacist coverage in the facility call Perform other duties Work Schedule: 8:00am-4:30pm. possible weekend Financial Disclosure Report: Not required
