Job DescriptionExciting opportunity to join a team of pharmacy experts as an Appeals Technician III. In this role, the Texas registered pharmacy technician will take in-coming calls from members and providers, providing professional phone assistance to all callers through the criteria based prior authorization process. The ideal candidate must maintain complete, timely, and accurate documentation of all approvals and denials, and transfers all clinical questions and judgment calls to the pharmacist.Required QualificationsMust currently be in a Tech I or Tech II or III internal CVS employee in good standing. Must have Texas Trainee or Texas Registration License. At minimum 4 months experience as a pharmacy technician.COVID Requirements
