This position functions in the Inpatient Pharmacy section, primarily in the unit dose, sterile compounding areas and includes inventory control for ward stock, bar-coded unit dose, bulk, IV admixture products, crash carts, and daily maintenance of automated dispensing equipment and interpreting data from pharmacy information systems. The position may also provide services to the ambulatory care pharmacy section or controlled substances vault. This position requires working knowledge of pharmacy policies and procedures, the electronic health record (EHR), DEA regulations, and controlled substance policies.
