PGY2 Solid Organ Transplant Residency
The Baylor University Medical Center PGY2 in Solid Organ Transplant aims is a one-year ASHP-accredited residency that aims develop well-rounded clinicians who can provide high level pharmaceutical care in a variety of solid organ transplant settings. Since its inception in 1985, the transplant center has remained internationally recognized as a leader in transplant research and one of the most active centers in the U.S. On average, at least 350 transplants are performed annually on the BUMC campus alone, including kidney, liver, pancreas, heart, lung, uterine and auto-islet transplants, making it one of the largest centers in the US. The program also participates in more than 120 transplant research protocols and is home to large prospective Clinical Research Databases in various organ
