Howard University College of pharmacy. Founded in 1867, Howard University, located in Washington D.C., is a private co-educational institution of higher learning. The university has over 10,000 students enrolled in 13 schools and colleges. Howard University has a rich and successful history of training “Pharmacy Leaders for America and the Global Community”. The College of Pharmacy has 35 FTE faculty, and a number of part-time faculty members who serve a professional student body of over 300 students and graduate students. The College is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) and offers the Doctor of Pharmacy degree; distance learning based non-traditional Doctor of Pharmacy degree, and PhD degrees in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
