Clinical Pharmacist Specialist: Critical Care
Clinical Pharmacy Specialist, Critical Care: The role of the ICU clinical specialist is to evaluate and recommend appropriate drug therapy to achieve optimal cost-effective patient outcomes, by working directly with physicians and other healthcare professionals. Participate in the development, provision and evaluation of comprehensive pharmaceutical care and quality assurance programs through scholarly activities. Serves as a resource to the pharmacy staff, ICU, and other hospital departments. Opportunities exist in cardiac and surgical subspecialties. Job requirements include PharmD, PGY1 Residency, Missouri pharmacist license with Medication Therapy Services Certification, Board Certification within three years of hire.  PGY2 Critical Care Residency training is
