Position Summary: The Clinical Pharmacy Manager is responsible for the coordination of clinical pharmacy services and pharmaceutical care for the department or functional service area. Primary responsibilities include the overall coordination of clinical activities and the development, implementation, and evaluation of quality assurance activities. The Clinical Pharmacy Manager also directs and supervises professional staff to ensure quality pharmacy services for patients and staff. Work situations are varied requiring a strong pharmaceutical knowledge base, organization, problem solving, decision-making, data analysis, and leadership. Internal contacts include all levels of staff and management. External contacts include physicians, competing organizations, and professional peers.
Minimum Requirements: 3 years in pharmacy managerial, supervisory or lead capacity 5 years hospital pharmacy experience in professional or technical role/function
Education/Licenses/Certifications: ? Registered and licensed as a pharmacist in the State of Washington ? Completion of an Advanced Degree (MS or Pharm D. preferred) Completon of an ASHP accredited (or first year program pending accreditation) pharmacy residency
