Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics Research Trainee

About The University of Chicago
The University of Chicago Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics Training Program offers a verity of training that fits your career goals. Two-year opportunities include training in Clinical Therapeutics which is training in any of the broad area within clinical pharmacology and pharmacogenomics. This could, for example, include a clinical research project or wet laboratory from the areas on psychiatry to neurology. Pharmacogenomics in Clinical Implementation provides research focused in the area of pharmacogenomics and pharmacogenomic of clinical implementation. Trainees will have the ability to develop clinical research expertise within an established research group with the University of Chicago Center for Personalized Therapeutics. Clinical Therapeutics in Industry is provides focused academic work in clinical pharmacology and pharmacogenomics in the first year, followed by a year of training largely in an industry setting. Lastly, we offer 4-year training in Clinical Therapeutics in Oncology. This joins comprehensive fellowship training in the Section of Hematology/Oncology, Department of Medicine and in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacogenomics.
