Overview
St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking a Lead Pharmacist to join our Specialty Pharmacy
team in support of Pediatrics.
Responsibilities
- Serve as functional lead for pharmacy services of specialty practice area based on interest, experience and assignment
- Coordinate closely with pediatric specialists and providers to improve patient care
- Serve as a specialty pharmacy team member and provide liaison specialty pharmacy services
- Works collaboratively within organization structures to improve medication use outcomes
- Mentor and train staff
- Precept students and residents for learning experiences
- Design and implement pharmacy operational processes for practice area
- Coordinate practice activities under the direction of overall departmental leadership
- May serve as an evaluator of staff within team
- If specialty certification is available obtain board certification from the Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties within 2 years
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid Idaho Pharmacist License required
- Two (2) years' experience required
- MBA or Residency in lieu of 2 years experience
- Pediatric Experience preferred

Additionally, we have a Level IV NICU and a 13-bed PICU, the first in the state of Idaho. St. Luke's Children's Hospital is also developing a pediatric trauma program.
