Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee the quality and integrity of Pharmacy Claims
• Understand the Prior Authorization process and create a systematic approach to organizing and assisting with requests
• Interact with customers via phone gathering support data to ensure claims accuracy and assist with specific billing discrepancies
• Provide input to policies, systems, methods, and procedures for the effective management and control of the premium billing function
• May also include quality assurance and audit of billing activities

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ years of Healthcare Billing experience
• Working knowledge of Pharmacy Claims
• Intermediate proficiency with Excel

• Pharmacy Billing experience
• Prior Authorization experience
• Experience using QS1 Primecare, Docutrack, or WellSky CareTend software
• 2+ year degree in Business or Accounting preferred
• Ability to navigate a computer while on the phone
