Pharmacy Tech II Full Time Rotating Position Summary
Assists pharmacists in preparing and distributing medications, maintaining the drug inventory and supplies, receiving, sorting, and stocking medications and supplies. Bills and credits medications to patients.
Assists the medical team by collecting the best possible home medication lists for patients admitted to the hospital, including prescription and non-prescription medications. Clarifies and updates allergy information in the patientâ��s medical records. Enters information into the patientâ��s medical record and addresses any potential concerns with a pharmacist
Rotating shifts - typically between 1st (7a-330p) and 2nd shift (330p - 12a). Will also need to be flexible to rotate to 3rd shift as needed.
THE PHARMACY TECH II FULL TIME ROTATING CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum Experience: No previous experience required. 1 to 2 years of experience as hospital tech preferred.
