POST-DOCTORAL PHARMACEUTICAL INDUSTRY FELLOWSHIP – Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, offers innovative Post-Doctoral Pharm.D. Fellowships that provide extensive training in the pharmaceutical and bio-pharmaceutical industry. This 2-year Fellowship position is a joint effort between the Rutgers Institute for Pharmaceutical Industry Fellowships and Johnson & Johnson. Program emphasis is in Global Commercial Data Science. This 2-year Fellowship provides a unique opportunity to work in multiple pillars gaining a broad understanding of this highly dynamic space. Our work focuses on bringing transformational medical innovations to patients across disease states such as hematological and solid tumor malignancies, mental health, infectious diseases, immune diseases, cardiovascular diseases, retinal disease and more. Example role and responsibilities : Laser focus on the top commercial opportunities to maximize launches and enhance global competitiveness
Educate the organization on emerging Data Science trends, opportunities, competitive threats, and new technologies that can continue to differentiate the company
Actively participate in Precision Medicine, Digital Health, RWE, Data and Data Science communities across Janssen and J&J
Assist with the strategy development and execution of our global go-to-market launch planning involving innovative and highly strategic Digital Health and Precision Medicine approaches, including e.g., wearables/sensors, digital diagnostics, patient monitoring and disease management systems, digital therapeutics as well as companion and complimentary diagnostics.
Help prepare presentations, strategy documents and white papers to highlight the vision, strategy and execution plans for the GCDS strategy
Identify and evaluate external companies for commercial partnership, including assessment of strategic, operational and cultural fit with J&J
Champion a customer-centric and data-driven approach to experience design that incorporates customer insights and feedback, and industry-wide best practices, into all design and development activities (i.e., ROI-based digital health initiatives)
Navigate technology, analytical, legal and privacy complexities to achieve objectives.
