The posting is for a pharmacy technician to work primarily every second weekend, but shifts may vary depending on the departmental needs.
The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for medication preparation and delivery and use of pharmacy automation which includes Medication Carousel, Omnicell and EPIC.
The technician may also be responsible for safe and accurate preparation of intravenous admixtures which may include chemotherapy, in accordance with USP 797 and 800 guidelines.
The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.
Registration in New Jersey required.
PTCB (Pharmacy Technician Certification Board) certification required or will obtain within 90 days of employment.
