PGY2 - Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Resident
Job Description: Mayo Clinic Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota offers a PGY2 Emergency Medicine Pharmacy Residency for practitioners who seek advanced training in emergency medicine. The resident will practice in the Emergency Department (ED) at St. Mary's Campus, a 1,265-bed Level 1 trauma center. There is a broad range of adult, pediatric, trauma and geriatric patients with approximately 80,000 ED visits each year. Focus of pharmacy practice is on direct bed-side patient care and identification of drug-related problems; response to electronic notification of alerts for trauma, cardiac arrest, stroke, severe sepsis and procedural sedation; provision of pharmacotherapeutic and toxicologic consultation as well as development of guidelines for pharmacotherapeutic issues in
