The PGY2 Oncology residency program provides advanced training for residents in the fields of Bone and Marrow Transplantation, inpatient and outpatient Malignant Hematology and Medical Oncology, chemotherapy pharmacy operations, oral chemotherapy clinic, as well as Clinical Trials and Design. The residents train at Houston Methodist Cancer Center which is an internationally recognized leader in cancer care and offers revolutionary methods of cancer prevention, diagnosis and treatment from leading medical professionals. The resident will experience a variety of electives in both an inpatient and outpatient setting. Elective experiences include but are not limited to Palliative Medicine, Neuro-Oncology, Infectious Diseases, and Academia.
