Pharmacists completing a residency at HCA Florida Brandon Hospital will be confident, considerate, and capable providers to pediatrics in a multitude of healthcare environments. Required rotations include: NICU I/II general pediatrics, advanced general pediatrics, PICU, medication safety, infectious disease, research and administration. Elective rotations may include: emergency medicine, academia, and obstetrics/gynecology. Other residency activities include completing a research project suitable for publication, a medication use evaluation, and development of a new pediatric pharmacy service.
