Parkview Health Specialty Pharmacy continues to grow to best serve the patients of the Health-System and coworkers in Northeast Indiana and Ohio. Our Specialty Pharmacy model is an embedded pharmacist model where the pharmacist and liaison are physically located within the Parkview Physicians Group practice working alongside physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and other office staff. General Manager Details:
Parkview Physicians Group and Parkview Health Specialty Pharmacy continue to grow and are looking for a general manager over specialty pharmacy. This role will be supported by TrellisRx’s exceptional structure to assist with maintaining accreditation (URAC and ACHC), payor contracting, limited distribution access, and more. This manager will have the support of a Specialty Pharmacy Lead who assists with many of the day-to-day operational activities and HR needs of the growing staff. Our pharmacists are an integral part of the treatment team assisting with evidence-based treatment plans, educating patients and families, and resolving medication therapy opportunities working side by side with clinic staff to meet the needs of each unique patient.
We look forward to this manager building upon, further developing, and inspiring the onsite team of clinicians, liaisons, and technicians to outperform targets and create high patient and provider satisfaction. Current embedded pharmacist sites include rheumatology, infectious diseases, gastroenterology, oncology, and neurology. Ongoing evaluation in collaboration between Parkview and TrellisRx occurs to identify opportunities for expansion and process improvements to continue our stellar metrics, including 2022 MMIT Patient Choice Award winning pharmacy.

Candidates must possess a pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited institution. Experience in managing and successful executing complex projects while working with diverse stakeholder is required. Pharmacy licensure or eligibility in Indiana is required. Candidates must have a high level of organizational and time management skills, enthusiasm for learning and growing themselves and others, and interpersonal skills needed to interact effectively with patients and pharmacy and non-pharmacy leaders, health professionals, patients and families, and learners.
