The University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy invites applications for a 12-month Non-tenure track position at the rank of Clinical Assistant or Clinical Associate Professor. The position is based in Oxford, Mississippi on the main campus of the University of Mississippi. Academic responsibilities include teaching in the Skills Laboratory experiences, integrated and modularized PharmD curriculum, training of pharmacy students on practice experiences (IPPE and APPE), and site coordination of community pharmacy residency program (PGY1). The candidate will be required to develop and maintain a clinical practice in a community pharmacy. In scholarship, the candidate will be expected to publish scholarly works in peer-reviewed journals and teach and mentor students and residents in research experiences. In service or citizenship, the candidate will be required to serve the department, the school, and University according to needs and interest. Participation and leadership in professional and scientific organizations is encouraged.

The successful candidate must have a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited School/College of Pharmacy with residency and or fellowship, be licensed, or eligible for licensure, as a pharmacist by the State of Mississippi. The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to teaching, service, and scholarship, and competence as a clinician. Board certification is encouraged.
