This post-graduate year two solid organ transplant pharmacy residency allows for diverse clinical, educational and research opportunities. Loyola offers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient rotations across adult kidney, liver, pancreas, heart and lung transplantation, as well as transplant infectious disease. Additional elective rotations are available in the cardiothoracic ICU, medical ICU, surgical/trauma ICU, as well as off-site rotations in pediatric solid organ transplant and at another Chicago-area transplant centers. Residents will complete one research project, seminar presentation, medication use evaluation, guideline/protocol update, and an additional writing project.
