Overview Overlook Medical Center is currently seeking a FT Over-night Pharmacy technician in the Pharmacy Department.Responsibilities Essential Job Functions:This posting is for a full time pharmacy technician to work the 11p-7a shift, including every other weekend. The candidate selected for this position will be responsible for the following: medication preparation and delivery, use of pharmacy automation which includes the Medication Carousel, EPIC and the Omnicell. The incumbent technician will also be responsible for the safe and accurate preparation of intravenous admixtures which may include chemotherapy in accordance with USP 797 and 800 guidelines. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.
