This position provides appropriate and effective clinical pharmacy care, leadership, mentoring, and training to clinical staff, pharmacy residents, and pharmacy students. Incumbents are expected to actively contribute to the organizational knowledge and goals of Intermountain Healthcare and to the scientific body of knowledge.
Includes inpatient and outpatient transplant responsibilities. Kidney and liver transplant focus.
Transplant Services continues to grow at Intermountain Medical Center. Over the last 4-years, abdominal transplant (liver and kidney) has increased from 130 transplants in 2018 to 283 transplants in 2021.
In 2021/2022 a new PGY2 in Solid Organ Transplant was created. This position would require precepting in the transplant program for PGY1 and PGY2 residents as well as pharmacy students from the two local colleges of pharmacy.
Opportunities exist for continued protocol development, multiple research opportunities, and involvement in transplant quality and listing committees.

Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification
PGY-2 transplant residency or equivalent
Experience with solid organ transplant (Kidney and or Liver)
