PGY2 Ambulatory Care Residency
The PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Residency at UW Medicine is an ASHP-accredited post graduate program, which provides 12 months of training.  The program is designed to develop and refine critical thinking skills necessary to make and monitor therapeutic interventions for safe and efficacious use of drug therapy and allow residents to provide patient centered care in primary care settings.   The primary practice site for the PGY2 Ambulatory Care Pharmacy Program is the Harborview Medical Center.  The program concentrates on developing an independent and collaborative ambulatory pharmacist who can meet the dynamic challenges encountered in primary care.  The resident is an instructor for
