Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - Mental Health
The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist is called upon to directly manage mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar, schizophrenia, insomnia, as well as substance use disorders, among others. The incumbent will direct medication therapy by initiating, modifying and discontinuing medication therapy in the mental health clinic setting. The MH CPS is fully integrated into their interdisciplinary team, holds a broad scope of practice and is credentialed as a midlevel provider. Basic Requirements: United States Citizenship: Non-citizens may only be appointed when it is not possible to recruit qualified citizens in accordance with VA Policy. Education: Graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited College or School of Pharmacy with a baccalaurea
