In this full-time Coordinator, Pharmacy Services position, you will play an important leadership role within our esteemed inpatient pharmacy team. This role will allow you to:
Facilitate clinical pharmacy services for Oncology patients receiving treatment.
Align clinical pharmacists with assigned patient populations, medical teams and designated specialty areas or ambulatory clinics.
Participate in pharmacy student and resident education and research activities.
Oversee the effectiveness of clinical pharmacists.
We’re seeking registered pharmacy candidates who have a doctorate in pharmacy, bachelor’s degree in pharmacy and clinically oriented master’s degree in pharmacy, or pharmacy board certification. Candidates should have either completed a residency or fellowship program or have clinical experience that would be equivalent to residency or fellowship training. We are seeking a strong communicator who can work as part of an interdisciplinary team with nurses, pharmacy staff, physicians and pharmacy students. As an academic institution, this role will require candidates to be able to effectively integrate clinical services and educational activities. And candidates should be able to display a strong working knowledge of hospital and outpatient clinic operations.
