General Overview:  The PGY2 solid organ transplant (SOT) pharmacy residency at Emory University Hospital is an ASHP-accredited, one-year specialty program that begins on July 1, 2023.  The Emory Transplant Center is a comprehensive transplant program designed to provide exposure to diverse populations of solid organ transplant recipients.  Performing over 500 transplants in 2021, including kidney, pancreas, liver, heart and lung transplantation, the resident will join an interdisciplinary team of  pharmacists, physicians, surgeons, social workers, dietitians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners to optimize the care of transplant patients. The primary emphasis of the residency is to develop clinicians who are able to function as an integral member of the transp
