Clinical Pharmacy Specialists are an integral part of the care for the transplant patient at Methodist University Hospital. The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist promotes the safe and appropriate use, proper storage, and distribution of medications as required for patient care in accordance with professional standards and practices. Develops, implements, and monitors clinical protocols. Provides consultative and research services in a specialty area to patients and the medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff.
