Reviews, prepares, and dispenses medications according to accepted standards of practice.
Actively participates in all clinical activities within the department and/or facility to include, but not be limited to: (1) Patient and/or staff education regarding medication(s) (2) Documented interventions within the real time clinical surveillance system as deemed appropriate
Effectively manages departmental resources.
Provides quality, patient-specific drug information and recommendations to health care workers and patients.
Establishes measurable yearly goals and objectives.
