Location:  Midland, TX   Job Description:  Round with infectious disease providers on the ID consult service to optimize antimicrobial therapy Provide key leadership in the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program in targeting anti-infective agents based on local resistance patterns, drug indications, drug adverse effects, and costs Oversee daily prospective audit of antimicrobials Provide direction in formulary management through the P&T Committee Perform antimicrobial use evaluations Develop antimicrobial guidelines and protocols for prescribing and streamlining prophylactic, empiric and definitive antimicrobial therapy Compile data and metrics on antimicrobial use
