Position Summary:The Clinical Pharmacist works collaboratively with the physician teams, advanced practitioners, medical residents and staff to promote and improve safe medication use in trauma and neuro patients. Uses evidence-based medicine to provide recommendations to optimize drug regimens with a focus of preventing adverse drug events. Provides patient specific medication use teaching for high risk patients (i.e. polypharmacy, pediatric patients, patients on high risk medications or are at risk for readmission due to medication non-compliance).
