Phoebe Putney Health System, Inc. (PPHS) seeks a dynamic and entrepreneurial pharmacy executive with a strong focus on leadership and growth to serve as its first Vice President, Pharmacy Services (VP). The incoming VP will have the opportunity to create a system-wide pharmacy service for a nimble and growing regional health system with outstanding facilities.
Phoebe Putney Health System, located in Albany, Georgia, is a four hospital, $900 million net revenue, not-for-profit network of more than 4,500 physicians, nurses, professional staff, and volunteers. Phoebe Putney delivers compassionate, high quality healthcare to more than 950,000 residents in a 42-county region and hold distinct market share (79 percent inpatient primary service area) in southwest Georgia. PPHS is a recognized leader in specialties including cardiovascular medicine, oncology, orthopedics, and women's health. Additional tertiary services include NICU and Level III Trauma services.
Reporting to the system Chief Financial Officer, and working collaboratively with clinical pharmacy leaders across PPHS, the VP is charged with setting the vision for pharmacy clinical and business services, specialty pharmacy services, centralized logistics, centralized automation, analytics, 340B, supply chain, operations, and pharmacy information technology support. The VP will be tasked with integration across the health system, building a reputation as a leading pharmacy services organization across the state, and growing the pharmacy business model.
The ideal candidate will have seven years of health system pharmacy leadership experience in an acute care facility or complex health system as well as a Pharm.D. or B.S. Pharmacy. Candidates should also have a strong and demonstrated commitment to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion.
