OneHealth Pharmacy, LLC, a prominent and respected Oncology/Hematology group, is seeking a SupervisingPharmacist to join a well-established and growing pure sub-specialty practice with academic affiliation. Practice manages a freestanding outpatient 7-day per week Cancer Center with extensive chemotherapy administration, Radiation Oncology, Pharmacy and Research department.
As the Supervising Pharmacist at OneHealth Pharmacy, LLC you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of the pharmacy and ensuring that all pharmacy activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards. You will also be responsible for supervising the work of other pharmacy staff, ensuring that they provide safe, effective, and efficient services to our customers.
In this role, you will:
Oversee the dispensing of prescription drugs and ensure that all pharmacy activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
Manage inventory levels and ordering of medications and supplies to ensure adequate stock levels are maintained.
Supervise pharmacy staff and ensure that they are properly trained and adhere to policies and procedures.
Ensure that all customer inquiries and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
Participate in patient care activities, such as medication therapy management, medication counseling, and health and wellness education.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.
Monitor and evaluate pharmacy performance to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
Maintain accurate and complete records of all pharmacy activities, including dispensing records, inventory records, and patient records.
Ensure that the pharmacy is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
Provide leadership and support to the pharmacy team to ensure that the pharmacy operates efficiently and effectively.
Drive new revenue to the pharmacy by identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with healthcare providers and other potential referral sources.
Conduct conversations with physicians and other healthcare providers to promote the pharmacy’s products and services and build referral relationships.
Work with the financial counseling department to provide financial assistance and counseling to patients who may have difficulty paying for their medications.
Collaborate with the authorization department to ensure that prior authorizations for medications are obtained in a timely manner and that the pharmacy is reimbursed for services rendered.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase the visibility of the pharmacy and attract new customers.
Stay current with the latest developments in the pharmaceutical industry and identify new trends and opportunities for growth.
Monitor the financial performance of the pharmacy and develop plans to improve profitability and reduce costs.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers, employees, and other stakeholders.
Provide training and guidance to other pharmacy staff on how to drive revenue and improve customer service.
We require:
A Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
A valid pharmacist license in New York State
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a retail pharmacy setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or management role.
Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Salary up to $150,000 per year based on experience and opportunity of annual discretionary bonus.
