Overview

St. Luke's Health System in Boise is seeking an Oncology Specialty Pharmacist to join our Specialty Pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of a medically integrated oncology specialty pharmacy from first receiving the prescription, to dispensing, counseling, and long-term follow-up for patients
• Provide counseling to patient on oncology specialty medications including all aspects of high-level oncology care from administration, handling, side effects, and drug interactions
• Recommend dose modifications or changes to treatment to oncologists based on patient's specific factors such as drug interactions, hepatic/renal function or other applicable reasons
• Work closely with other healthcare professionals in a team setting to optimize patient experience and outcomes
• Prescribe supportive care medications, update prescriptions with dose changes, and order accompanying labs/tests through an inclusive oncology collaborative practice agreement
• Precept and aid in the development and growth of residents of an ASHP accredited PGY 2 oncology residency program

Qualifications

• Valid Idaho Pharmacist License
