The Takeda – Purdue Global Clinical Operations Fellowship is a two-year program designed to provide PharmDs with the opportunity to gain specialized hands-on pharmaceutical industry training and experience in Clinical Trial Operations. The fellow will receive mentorship and individual guidance from the Clinical Operations team and collaborate on cross-functional teams. The fellow will acquire a better understanding of the operational strategy, planning, and oversight of development clinical programs.
The purpose of the fellowship program is to develop trained fellows who will be prepared to take up the challenges of operational strategy and oversight in drug development. This program will serve to maintain and enhance a scientific link between Takeda and Purdue University scientists; and it will aid not only the operational strategy at Takeda, but serve to improve the drug development process throughout the industry. Graduates of the program will have the ability to serve in important roles in the pharmaceutical industry and/or in an academic setting. The fellow will be based at the Takeda Boston site located in Cambridge, MA with frequent interactions and a rotation with Purdue University.

PharmD graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy Program
License to practice pharmacy in any state (Purdue requirement) by December 31, 2024
