Purdue University is offering a two year fellowship in academia and ambulatory care. The primary goal of this fellowship is to prepare practitioners for clinical faculty positions. Fellows will gain experience in clinical pharmacy services at Federally Qualified Health Canters (FQHC) providing care in a rural community. The FQHCs are affiliated with Purdue University and located in Delphi and Monon, Indiana. Fellows also will be actively involved in didactic teaching at Purdue University and preceptorship at the clinics. In addition, fellows will have multiple opportunities to conduct collaborative research with faculty and clinicians.
Applicants are expected to have completed a Doctor of Pharmacy program and be eligible for licensure in the state of Indiana. Candidates also must have completed a PGY-1 residency or have equivalent pharmacy practice experience.
