There WILL be a $10,000 per year housing stipend for the Ultragenyx fellowship position.
The Ultragenyx – Purdue Global Regulatory Affairs Fellowship is a two-year program designed to provide PharmDs with the opportunity to gain specialized experience working in the regulatory space associated with therapies for rare and ultrarare genetic diseases. The fellows will benefit from individualized mentorship and guidance from the Ultragenyx Regulatory Affairs team and interact with multidisciplinary teams across the organization. The fellow will obtain a deep understanding of the global drug development process and the role of regulatory affairs throughout this process.
The purpose of this unique two-year fellowship program is to develop the next generation of regulatory affairs professionals ready to accept the challenges of regulatory strategy and execution in furthering the development of tomorrow’s pharmacotherapies. This program establishes a scientific link between Ultragenyx and Purdue University scientists; and it will aid not only the regulatory strategy and professional development of the fellow but ultimately serve to improve the overall drug development process throughout the industry. Program graduates will be well qualified to serve in important roles in the pharmaceutical industry and/or in and academic setting. The fellow will be based in San Francisco, CA with frequent interactions and a rotation with Purdue University.
PharmD graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited Doctor of Pharmacy Program
License to practice pharmacy in any state (Purdue requirement) by December 31, 2024
